She is an Oxford-educated economist with a distinguished record in government and public policy research. Currently an Adjunct Professor of Economics at George Washington University, she served in economic policy positions in the White House under Presidents Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush. Most recently Diana was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology at the U.S. Department of Transportation and Acting Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Previous positions include Chief Economist at the U.S. Department of Labor and Chief of Staff of the Council of Economic Advisers. Diana has written six books and hundreds of articles on economic policy. She is frequently featured on TV and radio, including NPR, C-SPAN, and CNBC.
