WOHASU LLC, producer of the World Happiness Summit™, has donated 100 tickets to South Florida public school teachers for the second annual global event taking place on March 16-18 at the University of Miami.
“We are heart broken by the tragedy and we wanted to help contribute to our community’s healing process by providing a positive space so that we can help our youth cope with the growing loneliness, alienation and anxiety that they may be feeling,” said Karen Guggenheim, WOHASU™ CEO and Founder. “Our global mission is to disseminate the information and research findings from the world’s top experts and academic institutions so that the science becomes actionable and practicable.”
“Being professionally fulfilled and effective depends not only on skills and knowledge, but also personal and emotional well-being,” said Miami-Dade schools Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho. “The work of the World Happiness Summit offers professionals the tools and resources to find the path to happiness and positive thinking in a way that is enlightening and life-changing.”
The University of Miami is the official host of this year’s summit, taking place at the Shalala Student Center. This pioneering event will bring together Ivy league professors, UN Advisors and many other leading experts on the science of happiness who will speak on how to build sustainable happiness.
