WOHASU™ donated 100 passes for Miami-Dade & Broward School Teachers

WOHASU LLC, producer of the World Happiness Summit™, has donated 100 tickets to South Florida public school teachers for the second annual global event taking place on March 16-18 at the University of Miami.

In recognition of the recent tragedy in Parkland, and because teachers are such an important pillar of our society, Summit organizers wanted to offer this opportunity for South Florida public school teachers, counselors and administrators to learn from leading experts who bring to light the practical implementations of the science of happiness and well-being so that participants can learn actionable tools to build resiliency, improve mental health, connect with purpose and meaning as well as construct positive relationships and become happier.

“We are heart broken by the tragedy and we wanted to help contribute to our community’s healing process by providing a positive space so that we can help our youth cope with the growing loneliness, alienation and anxiety that they may be feeling,” said Karen Guggenheim, WOHASU™ CEO and Founder. “Our global mission is to disseminate the information and research findings from the world’s top experts and academic institutions so that the science becomes actionable and practicable.”

The University of Miami is the official host of this year’s summit, taking place at the Shalala Student Center. This pioneering event will bring together Ivy league professors, UN Advisors and many other leading experts on the science of happiness who will speak on how to build sustainable happiness.
