January. An alpine connoisseur’s month — crowds gone, rates softer, culture better. Epiphany processions in Alsace and Bavaria, Vienna’s ball season, and reliable Alpine snow. Book Graubünden around Davos week or couple it with business meetings if planning to attend.   For the sports enthusiast, White Turf horse racing occurs on a frozen Engadin lake in St. Moritz. In the US, Sundance debuts in Boulder January 21–31, 2027. January is also a busy corporate conference season with SKOs or Sales Kickoffs booking now.
