Texan’s Quarterback Tom Savage and the Failed Concussion Protocol

During the Houston Texans recent game against the San Francisco 49ers, quarterback Tom Savage received a devastating blow.  The quarterback went through the protocol and he was cleared.  The NFL has agreed that the Texans fulfilled the protocol and will not face discipline.

However, common sense argues that Savage should not have been put back on the field during that game.  People who do not like restrictive rule changes in the NFL can see why they happen when people simply fail to apply common sense.

The first video captures the incident from many angles.  Warning, this video is disturbing.

The second video makes the case that the protocol system of the NFL failed Savage.
