Famed Media Critic on How Weak Coverage of the Biden Administration Hurts Our Democracy

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed John D. O’Connor.

So-called detainment “cages” for southern border immigrant children were described by the media as “abominable” when used by the Trump Administration, but not so described when the Biden Administration uses the very same cages in much more crowded conditions.  When President Trump sought to call out the National Guard support during the summer riots, he was excoriated by the media.  After the January protest in Washington, D.C.,  however, Democrats called in 26,000 National Guard troops for the Biden inauguration, keeping thousands of them there since without a peep from the mainstream media.   What does this disparity in media coverage mean to our democracy?  Listen to lawyer and author, John O’Connor to find out.

John O’Connor is a former federal prosecutor and the San Francisco attorney who represented W. Mark Felt during his revelation as Deep Throat in 2005.  O’Connor is the author of the book, Postgate: How the Washington Post Betrayed Deep Throat, Covered Up Watergate, and Began Today’s Partisan Advocacy Journalism and the host of the new podcast series, The Mysteries of Watergate.

Kevin Price introduces Price of Business show recurring guest, John D. O’Connor. O’Connor was the famed attorney of Watergate’s “Deep Throat.
