My name is Paul Pavao. I became a Christian in 1982, excited to be part of churches for whom the Bible is “the sole rule of life and practice.” What I found, though, was not “one rule,” but division and bickering. This spurred a 40-year quest to find the faith taught by the apostles’ and their churches. The result is my book, Rebuilding the Foundations and an urgent call for Christians to live like Jesus. All that equipped me for my delightful experience with a rare and deadly form of leukemia.
